It wasn’t the first time that Belle had come across the wanted posters of the dark-haired girl, and on occasion, she had even heard hunters brag how good they were at tracking, and how quickly they would be able to find the monster.
But a week later, it appeared that the ‘monster’ still hadn’t been caught.
If anything, the posters were rather vague about what the girl in question had done wrong. Apparently she had killed two huntsman, but there did not seem to be a motivation for it - or a description of how she had done it in the first place.
All it said was that the girl was dangerous and had to be approached carefully, as she could lash out like a monster.
Belle sometimes thought that maybe she could capture the girl - and prove that she could be an adventurer too. But then she realized that those were just dreams, and that she was perfectly happy studying Pokemon instead.
Even in the company of Farfetch’d, she doubted she’d make a very good monster hunter, especially if she didn’t have any further details on what the girl was precisely, and she forgot all about it. That is… until she happened to come across the girl a few days later.
